About Alternative Art Week
Alternative Art Week is a special four-day event that introduces multiple alternative art spaces featured on the website “Regai – Alternative Art Spaces Index Japan” (https://reigai.space/), which highlights small-scale but original art spaces that stand apart from conventional museums and commercial galleries. During the event, you’ll find an Information Center where you can learn about the unique activities of these art spaces. There will also be special events such as guest talks, guided tours of the art spaces, and even a daily pop-up bar where you can mingle and connect. This is a great opportunity to discover new and unique art spaces you may not have heard of before—come and explore!
